Well, if you two ever want a quiet moment together, you'll need someone to watch Daniel, right?

I guess, even with things the way they are, it's hard for me to imagine Shizuo and Daniel being completely separated from one another.

Well, I suppose these difficult types should just feel lucky that they have someone like you (and me) around to care about them.

You should be more optimistic. Daniel could turn out like Solf? Ha ha, that's not much better, you say? Um, well, did you meet my parents? Solf isn't much like the rest of the family, so Daniel might be completely different from his parents.

I can take care of it. If you watching him means Shizu-chan is going to be there, then I'd rather you not watch him at all. I don't have anything against you but I don't trust him not to just up and take him for himself.

It might be hard for you to imagine, but that's what I intend so you'll see it soon enough.

Um, Shizuo wouldn't have to be there. Solf has let me watch him myself before. ...I know Shizuo would really like to take Daniel, but do you think he would? He couldn't get away with it for long.

Whatever, so I'm wrong about Kimblee. I don't like him. I don't understand him at all. I think he's disturbed and creepy. But, you know what? I'm jealous of him anyway. Of how you and he love each other. Of how you'll take off anytime, any day, if he just looks at you the right way.
